Secure Boot is a Windows 10 and Windows 11 security feature that prevents malicious software from loading when your PC boots. This feature is mandatory to run Dark and Darker game on your PC.
How to check if Secure Boot is enabled on your PC
1. Press the Windows + R keys together, this will open the Run window.
2. Type msinfo32 and press Enter key.
3. From the System Information window, select System Summary.
4. Scroll down to find the following information:
- BIOS Mode should be UEFI
- Secure Boot State should be ON

Requirements to enable Secure Boot
You must make sure:
- BIOS Boot Mode is set to UEFI not Legacy (also known as CSM).
- Disk Partition Style is using GPT not MBR. (Click HERE to read the guide on converting MBR to GPT)
- Enable Secure Boot in BIOS
- Up-to-Date BIOS version (how to update your BIOS - ASUS / MSI / ASRock / GIGABYTE)
